My path here started in engineering, not code. I worked as a project engineer in the shipbuilding industry, around large ships and complex, safety-critical systems. That gave me a strong grounding in operational discipline, risk management, reliability, and practical problem-solving under real constraints.

HSE Coordinator (System Team)
Seatrium (via Alpine Engineering)
Building and maintaining automation for HSE workflows across a large-scale shipyard operation, using Python, Shell, and Microsoft Power Platform.
Key Achievements
- Built automation workflows handling 10,000+ daily submissions, replacing repetitive manual processing
- Reduced workflow failure rates from ~35.65% to 1.47% through root-cause troubleshooting, input validation, process optimization, and structured error handling
- Automated recurring report-generation and data-processing workflows, reducing processing time to ~5–30 seconds
- Gather requirements from engineering and operations stakeholders, validate workflows, and roll out improvements in a safety-critical environment

- Built Infrastructure as Code and configuration management with Terraform and Ansible on AWS
- Designed CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitHub Actions to automate build, test, and deployment
- Containerized applications with Docker and deployed them to Kubernetes, including K3s clusters on AWS
- Wrote Python and Shell scripts to automate repetitive development and infrastructure tasks, and troubleshot deployment issues on peer cloud projects
